  1. Names and ages of your bulldogs.

Woodford (11 years old) and Blanton (4 years old)

  1. What, if any, nicknames do you have for your bulldog?

Woodford:  Baby Baby, Woofy, Bob, Woof Bob

Blanton:  Blant Blant, Blant, Squishy, Ralph, B, Special Helper, ManCheeChee

  1. What is your bulldog’s favorite snacks?

Apples, cheese, banana ice cream (frozen bananas that we blend with a little water), or a bite of whatever Daddy is eating

  1. What are some of your bulldog’s favorite things to do?

Woodford:  Snuggles, naps, window shopping is his favorite, car rides, going to the beach, rolling, and going to the park, but only if it is sunny

Blanton: absolutely LOVES playing basketball (he literally trains like an Olympic Gold Medalist), car rides, visiting or seeing his Papa, going to the park, and always wants to be outside – rain or shine

  1. What is a typical day like for you and your bulldog?

Woodford and Blanton are very routine oriented.  Woodford likes to wake up and get his morning hugs.  Blanton prefers to wake up and go outside because he has a bad case of FOMO.

Our days vary depending on whether we are working from home or not, but a few daily activities include “first nap” (always happens mid-morning), “second nap” (always after lunch), and a lot of playing, walks, and car rides in-between.

On dry days, Blanton likes to be “training” (playing basketball like an Olympic Gold Medalist) outside.  Woodford prefers the finer things in life like sunning himself with a fan blowing on him to ensure he doesn’t get too hot.  On Thursdays, both boys like to run back and forth from our backyard to the front window “yelling” at the garbage trucks.

Every day around 3:00 PM (if not sooner), Woodford will always vocally let us know that it is time for dinner. This is how we acquired the nickname Woofy as he “woofs.” Around 7:30 PM we will hear from him again that it is time to start the bedtime process.  After going outside, he will come in and wait for his “cookie,” which is glucosamine.  Without a “cookie” he refuses to move from the kitchen. He also requires hugs to go to sleep.  Without hugs, he becomes an aggressive snuggler and will nudge you until you give him his nighttime hugs.  It’s pretty endearing and cute!

  1. What are three words to describe your bulldog?

Woodford: Loyal, loving, and sensitive

Blanton:  Curious, energetic, and playful

  1. If your bulldog(s) was a superhero, what would its/their super power be?

Woodford:  Spreading love with his hugs

Blanton:  He’s your go-to hype dawg
