The objectives of the Bulldog Club of Greater Seattle are:
- To urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as sanctioned by The Bulldog Club of America and approved by The American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which Bulldogs shall be judged;
- To encourage and promote responsible ownership and breeding of purebred Bulldogs and to do everything possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection;
- To do everything in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows; and
- To conduct sanctioned and licensed specialty shows under the rules of The American Kennel Club.
The purpose and intentions of the Club’s Officers and Board of Directors is to ensure that the Club’s affairs and interests are conducted in accordance with the Bylaws. Said Officers and Board Members intend to do all that is in their power to ensure that all members in good standing have an equal and fair vote in the affairs of the Club.
